On behalf of School Teachers Federation of India (STFI), tens of thousands of teachers across India are planning to march towards the Parliament with two demands of national importance - cancellation of New Pension Scheme (CPS) and withdrawal of New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
According to the decision of the National General Council to gather tens of thousands of teachers across the country and hold a March to Parliament, a march to Parliament but the permission was not given by the authorities then it was converted as rally in Janthar Mantar Ground and Demonstration. 
Tamilnadu State teachers are participated  in this programme. 
The state president of the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Vocational Teachers' Kazhagam (Association) and member of the All India Executive Committee S.N. Janardhanan has said in a statement about this.

 the new education policy 2020 should be withdrawn, 
 all the teachers and government employees who have been appointed on the basis of contract wages, lump sums and daily basis should be given proper periodic salary and work quota. 
 The minimum amount for income tax payment should be up to Rs 7.5 lakh, the Standard deduction should be increased from Rs.50 thousand to Rs 2.5 lakh, the amount for saving under section 80CC should be increased from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh.
