. Cyclone Bengal is currently expected to make landfall over the Sriharikota-Chennai Puducherry coastal area by mid-day today.As a result, the Chennai Meteorological Department has informed that there will be widespread rainfall in Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Kanchipuram and Ranipet districts.
